Clinical Hospital „Acibadem Sistina“ and the Football Federation of Macedonia have signed a sponsorship and cooperation agreement, under which the hospital becomes the official medical partner of the Macedonia national football team, providing comprehensive medical care and support for the players of the senior national team and the National Under-21 Team.
To mark the start of the cooperation, national team players Gjoko Zajkov, Bojan Miovski and Ezgjan Alioski, together with head coach Goce Sedloski, visited the „Premium“ Sports Centre, where they met with the hospital’s management and familiarised themselves with the medical facilities and services that will be available to them as part of the new partnership.
„It is an honour and a pleasure for us to begin cooperating with the footballers who represent our country on the international sports stage. As a hospital, we are proud to be their medical support. We hope they will have as little need as possible for our services, but our team will always be here for them. We are particularly pleased that, in addition to the senior national team, we will also provide medical support for the Under-21 team,“ said Dr Mihajlo Ivanovski, a specialist in traumatology.
As part of the cooperation, Clinical Hospital „Acibadem Sistina“ will provide continuous medical care for the national team players and members of the coaching staff during official preparations and national team camps, as well as full medical support during the senior national team’s international matches. The support will include the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries, with the aim of safeguarding the players’ health and physical fitness.
„For us footballers, this cooperation means additional security and confidence, because we know that our health will be looked after by top medical professionals. We are ready to give our maximum on the pitch and continue to make everyone who supports us happy,“ said national team player Gjoko Zajkov.
Through this partnership, „Acibadem Sistina“ confirms its commitment to the health of athletes and its support for Macedonian sport, providing the national team players with reliable and timely medical care on the road to new sporting successes.
