Macedonia U20 defeated by Morocco at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto

Macedonia’s U20 national team ended its campaign at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto with a defeat, losing 1:5 to Morocco’s U19 selection.

Morocco took the lead through Hamza Radji in the first minute, but Macedonia responded immediately. In the 4th minute, Darjan Tasev scored the equaliser to make it 1:1.

The score remained unchanged until the 36th minute, when Zinebi Talbi restored Morocco’s lead. In the second half, the opponents confirmed their victory with three more goals. Mounsef scored for 3:1, after which Esadi and Gourari scored to seal the final 5:1.

With this defeat, Macedonia’s selection finished its campaign at the Mediterranean Games in last place in the group, with one point earned.
