Bregalnica managed to defeat Skopje in the final match of Matchday 8 in the First Macedonian Football League, leaving the visiting team still without a win so far this season.
The Shtip side managed to secure the victory with a goal in the second half. After the first half ended goalless and without chances, both teams went on the offensive in the second half.
Bregalnica's players had the first two chances. First, Vlaјković had to clear a header off the goal line, while in the 60th minute Nathaniel found himself with a great chance, but goalkeeper Naumovski made an excellent save.
Skopje responded with a shot by Božinovski, which was saved by Jašar, and then the goal came.Playing in the 72nd minute, Maksimov played Gligorov through brilliantly from the right, and he beat Naumovski with an excellent first-time shot to give his team the lead.
Skopje tried once again to find the back of the opponent's net. Gordić had the clearest chance, but Jašar was reliable and prevented an equalizer in the 76th minute.
Until the end of the match, Bregalnica came closer to making it 2–0 after Stojanov had a good chance following a solo run, but Naumovski saved the one-on-one.
Thus, the Shtip side managed to keep a clean sheet and the score remained unchanged, earning Bregalnica another three points, while Skopje remained at the bottom of the table.
